Johntrae Williams
- Producer
- Actor
- Executive
Johntrae,(contraction for John the 3rd) was always one to put on a
show. Whether it be putting on puppet shows for family and friends, or
assembling his cousins to film renditions of their favorite movies such
as 007, Mission Impossible and Shaft. From this, would stem his love
for the craft of acting and producing.
After multiple times of being denied the lead role in his high school plays, he was challenged with the fact that he was not in control of his own fate when it came to his ability to perform. This was the driving force for him to begin to write, direct and produce his own work in order to create a platform for himself and others.
Johntrae would continue on to receive his bachelors of Arts degree from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. By the completion of college, he had written and produced twelve projects. Johntrae later founded his production company, 3Actrical Entertainment, under his company he would write and produce multiple projects.
3Actrical, would also undertake the independent film project entitled "Guile," staring SAG Award Winner Michael K. Williams, from the HBO hit series "The Wire", and "Boardwalk Empire". Upon the conclusion of this project, Johntrae was Hollywood bound.
