David K. Greenwald is a marketing consultant and consulting producer.
He began as a photographer and then joined Madison Avenue, guiding strategic planning and commercial productions for many blue-chip brands including a spot produced with Industrial Light & Magic.
David introduced Thorn EMI's first video titles, and was then recruited to work on Sony's home video launch, producing the world's first HD video commercial. He negotiated partnerships for Sony with Paramount, Disney, MGM and Warner Brothers studios.
David then left for Europe, joining the team establishing one of Europe's first Internet service providers and e-commerce platforms. He developed Internet programs for various established brands and startups and his Internet marketing book was adopted by European business schools. His local project for Citibank was expanded to 17 countries, resulting in the press labeling him one of "The 25 Men (and Women) of E-commerce".
Greenwald has served as a consultant to a content provider of CNBC, RAI, and the BBC; a television commentator on media and technology and a film festival adviser.
A summa cum laude graduate of the Wesleyan University film program, he is the recipient of numerous awards including an "Edison" from the American Marketing Association.
