- Luciano Burti was born on March 5, 1975 in São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil.
- In 2001, he became a regular driver for Jaguar in Formula One, but was released by the team after scoring no points in the opening four races of the season. He immediately found a new team in Prost, for whom he participated in the following ten Grand Prix weekends. He was sidelined for the final three races of the season after being injured in a high-speed crash during the Belgian Grand Prix.
- He tested Formula One cars for Stewart in 1999 and Jaguar in 2000. He made his Formula One debut at the 2000 Austrian Grand Prix, which was his only race in the championship that year.
- He tested Formula One cars for Ferrari between 2002 and 2004, but never participated in a race with the team. Upon the expiration of his contract, he returned to his native Brazil and raced touring cars there for over a decade.
- Ex-Formula One racing driver, who raced for Jaguar (2000 (1 GP)-2001 (4 GPs)) and Prost (2001 (10 GPs)). Luciano Burti started 15 Grands Prix.
