- Hamish Downie is known for An American Piano (2014), The Last Anomaly (2022) and Matcha & Vanilla (2021).
- Co-wrote and produced the fan film "Silent Hill: Stolen Heart", despite never playing the game. "Silent Hill" is the first horror film Hamish ever watched.
- His breakthrough came with co-directing the music video for Robyn Loau's single "Never Let You Down" in 2011 with Paul Leeming.
- Helped produce the short film "Prism" which made it into the top ten finalists of the 2012 Quantum Shorts Competition in Singapore. The film was based on the Many Worlds Theory, and was written and directed by Robert Cook (who was a camera assistant on "An American Piano".
