The series, which bowed yesterday, is hosted by YouTuber and anime producer Reina Scully, who counts 391,000 subscribers on her personal channel, where she regularly shares content about Japanese culture, including anime reviews and travel vlogs.
Gochi Gang, distributed on the First We Feast YouTube channel, which counts 7.6 million subscribers, will specifically turn a spotlight on Japanese comfort cooking, as well as the cultural impact of Japanese cuisine in the U.S. Scully will be joined by different digital stars across six total episodes. Bon Appetit’s Claire Saffitz and fellow YouTuber Mike Chen join Scully on a Japanese market tour in episode one (below), for instance, while episode two will feature a Wagyu beef tasting with Philip DeFranco and Hot Ones host Sean Evans.

Since 2016, digital studio Life Noggin has blended science and video games on its Play Noggin channel. Regular viewers of those videos have no doubt accumulated a lot of gaming knowledge, and now, they will have a chance to show off what they have learned. Life Noggin has teamed up with former SourceFed host Reina Scully to launch Play Noggin Game Night, a trivia series that go live each week on Twitch.
In each episode of Game Night, Scully and her guests will play a game and will pose trivia questions related to those titles. As the hosts attempt to answer these stumpers, viewers will be invited to test their knowledge by chiming in via Twitch chat. At certain points during each stream, viewers will also get to select punishments for hosts who have answered incorrectly.

Discovery Digital Networks (Ddn) is leveling up its portfolio of brands with a new gaming-centric hub. The network has officially created the subsidiary network Super Panic Frenzy, led by DeFranco Networks’ Philip DeFranco, SourceFedNERD’s Reina Scully, and Ddn producer and host Steven Suptic.
Super Panic Frenzy will feature daily “let’s play”-style videos, live streams, gaming news, animations, and more. The gaming network will integrate the DeFranco Games Twitch channel (with over 240,000 subscribers), as well as the SourceFedNERD YouTube channel (with more than 750,000 subscribers). DeFranco, Scully, and Suptic (who joined Ddn just last month) will be joined by special guests every week, and community members will be able to play live games with the Super Panic Frenzy team and guests.
