William Stavrakos was born and raised in Orange County, California.
William is a graduate of Katella High School and was heavily active in
their Army J.R.O.T.C. program. At age 20, he joined the United States
Army, serving 5 years and was stationed at Ft. Hood, TX., Wiesbaden,
GE., and finished his Army service at Ft. Myer, VA. While serving,
William deployed to Afghanistan in 2002 in support of Operation
Enduring Freedom-1 with the 89th MP Brigade. He again deployed in
support of Operation Iraqi Freedom-1 from 2003 into 2004 with the 1st
Armored Division while stationed in Germany. William met his wife,
Colleen, while serving at his last unit in Washington D.C. They were
assigned to the 289th Military Police Company, The Old Guard.
William transitioned out of the military and began a family with the
birth of their daughter. The family moved to Colorado where their son
was born in 2010. While working for a Sheriff's Office, William made
the decision to return to school but for a different avenue from his
years of Law Enforcement. William decided to pursue another career and used the G.I. Bill to begin training as a screen actor. While moving through training, William was drawn toward story telling and took his education further to study screenwriting. William holds a Masters Degree in Screenwriting and a Bachelors Degree in Acting for Film.
