Left his BA in International Development to study acting at the
National Theatre School of Canada. After graduating in 2012, he took
his one-man stage show "Brotherhood: The Hip Hopera" to New York City,
earning him the Best Emerging Artist award from the United Solo
Festival, the largest solo show festival in the world.
He stars as Louis D'Costa in the pilot for in-the-works series "Second
Jen" about funny yet troubled millennials, and has appeared on
television shows "Cracked" (CBC, Netflix) and "Darknet" (SuperChannel).
His directorial debut, "Her Chance to Dream" is a short film that
garnered much attention at the 2013 Toronto Urban Film Festival, and
stars Heins as well.
Sebastien is the son of Jamaican mother, Shella, and German father,
John Heins, who met in arts college.
