As a teenager, I was a member of the Henry Street Settlement Movie Club. Where I made several, award winning, 16mm shorts. These are some of the film festivals that have screened my works: Tribeca Film Festival, USA-New York; Oberhausen, Germany; Punto de Vista, Pamplona, Spain; Black Hills, USA-South Dakota. In addition, these museums have featured my films: The Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum of American Art, New York. Some of these films are part of the permanent collection of the New York Library For the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center.
As staff editor at ABC News and Sports, I worked on several news and sports shows. For news, I have been a recipient of a duPont-Columbia and George Polk award. For sports, I received an Emmy.
Since retiring from a 28-year career as broadcast news editor, I have returned to my passion for making personal films. In the last ten years, I have produced/directed three full length documentaries and several shorts.
