Edward (Eddie) Swingler was born in Vietnam and raised in southern Illinois. He moved to Los Angeles in 2012 and entered in the industry after winning dancer of the year in 2012 at the International Presentation of Performers which took place in Beverly Hills, California. Immediately after he was signed by 323 Talent Management and Legendworks Talent and began his career in Hollywood.
Throughout those early years he took an interest in production roles such as cinematography, lighting, screenwriting, and editing. He became a reader for literary agents and for Final Draft. In 2014 he sold his first feature film screenplay "Dead Identity."
He's been a director for TV4 Entertainment, Project ED, and World Learning. In 2021 Edward won Best Comedy in Las Vegas and Nominated Best Action in Los Angeles for his short film, "One Chumpion." Edward began production for his feature film "30 Days" in 2022.
