A few weeks ago, SNL aired one of its most hilarious, subversive sketches in recent memory: "Dyke & Fats," a '70s cop show starring Kate McKinnon and Aidy Bryant. Vulture caught up with McKinnon last night at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of the movie Intramural to learn more about the origins of the masterpiece."We were both really tired one night," McKinnon explains, "and I just said to Aidy, 'Man, dyke is tired,' and Aidy said, 'Fats is tired, too.' And then it became our beautiful thing that we had together and we wanted to make something out of it," McKinnon says.
