From music, to dancing and sports, Aaron Shi has been honing his skills
in performing since he was four years old. However, as he grew up,
Aaron hit a wall in his life, wondering why these skills were important
and how they would affect his future career. Aaron met new friends when
he transferred into a private high school in 2008, and these friends
introduced him to the art of filmmaking. Aaron was immediately drawn to
all aspects of film. With his background in performance Aaron became a
"Jack of All Trades" in the art of filmmaking. Composing came easy to
him due to his in-depth background in music, dancing was a talent he
used in front of the camera after choreographing with a dance team he
started during his junior year of high school, and after years of
sports teams his athletic ability allowed him to pull off physical
stunts for action films. Since then he has worked with a film company
called HARA Motion Pictures in which he was often a lead actor and
important crew member on set. Aaron, now 17 in 2012, has drifted from
his past performing self and focused more on editing and
cinematography. Those are his two main positions for the film company
he co-founded in 2009 called ATAEC Studios. However, every now and then
if there is an open position as a dancer or actor, he'll feel the need
to step in and steal the show.
