Brett K. Maly is a fine art appraiser for Art Encounter in Las Vegas,
NV. He appears regularly as the art expert for History Channel's
internationally syndicated show, Pawn Stars.
Other notable projects include the 2011 appraisal of an early Andy
Warhol sketch purchased for $5 at a Las Vegas garage sale, and his role
in the 2012 unveiling of "Horse and Rider" by Leonardo da Vinci, the
only three-dimensional sculpture in existence today attributable to the
Renaissance Master.
In the Spring of 2014, Maly released his first book: "The Pocket
Picker-for Fine Art," a field guide to fine art procurement. Rick
Harrison, star of Pawn Stars and co-owner of the World Famous Gold &
Silver Pawn Shop, wrote the book's foreword.
