Vicky Mejia Yepes is a Colombian sound designer who has been part of several international productions. She holds an MFA degree in Film Production from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a BA in Music and Sound Engineering from El Bosque University.
Besides of her work as a sound designer, she is a professional singer and works as a vocal instructor. She wants to use film making,sound and music as means to advance in her long-term goal which is encourage a sense of community, creativity, scholarship, and purpose. These areas are particularly important to communicate effectively with young as well as people of all ages and to inspire them to advance in music and arts.
