The first semi-final this evening features the usual smattering of singers, dancers, oddballs and Wtf-are-they-doing acts, and as always Ant & Dec are challenged with holding the whole thing together while a circus of tears and tantrums surrounds them.

Olly Murs has added another date to his spring 2013 tour. The 28-year-old from Essex will play a second night at the O2 Arena in London on March 30 next year. Boyband The Loveable Rogues, who reached the final of this year's Britain's Got Talent competition, will be supporting Murs on tour. Tickets for the extra date at the O2 Arena go on sale at 9am on November 16. It is a 22-date tour for Murs, who will be playing in support of his third studio album Right Place Right Time, which is due for release on November 26. His new single 'Troublemaker', which features Flo Rida, is out on November 18. Murs, who also presents The Xtra Factor with Caroline Flack, will begin his tour on February 26 at Newcastle Metro Arena, and will conclude on March 30 at the O2 Arena.
