Ramona Alexandria Delgado, aka Moni Melody is a brilliant and talented musician, music producer and entrepreneur from Brooklyn, NY. She is an artist and a modern day renaissance woman who is very passionate about her work.
Moni, who's parents are of Jamaican descent, was born in Manhattan's Lower East Side (LES), and at a very young age, she demonstrated exceptional musical ability. She was then classically trained on the piano at the Brooklyn Music School, located next door to the Brooklyn Academy of Music. She continued her music and audio engineering studies at Cornell University and the The Institute of Audio Research.
Moni is a professional keyboardist and vocalist. She has performed in original bands & cover bands at various venues in New York city, including but not limited to: CBGB's, The Miller Theatre, Joe's Papp Public Theatre, The Nuyorican Cafe and Arlene's Grocery.
She co-owns a project recording studio in Brooklyn called Radian Studios. As an audio engineer and music producer, she records, mixes, edits, arranges and masters demos, EP & LP albums, mix-tapes, karaoke tracks and ringtones. Additionally, she freelances as a multimedia specialist for First Live Studio and records live video & audio of performances at venues in New York including Arlene's Grocery, Knitting Factory, NYU, The French Embassy, Hilton Hotel, Sonos Studio. She also does session recordings and composes music for commercials and independent films.
