Britain's Got Talent dance act Martin van Bentem and Marielle Constancia have spoken about their appearance on the show.
The Dutch duo sailed into the next round of the ITV competition on Saturday (May 4), after impressing the judges with their acrobatic dance routine.
However, some viewers have complained about whether they should be allowed to enter the show, as they are not from Britain, reports The Sun.
Martin said: "We hope that the British public will embrace us... and not focus on where we come from."
Simon Cowell said during their audition: "I've always said this, we always welcome everyone from around the world in this competition.
"I think we're very lucky to have you audition on this show because that's honestly one of the best things I've seen on this show."
Britain's Got Talent rules state that anyone who has the right to live and work in the UK can take part.
