Ghostdance Tribe
- Composer
Ghostdance Tribe was a hard rock outfit based from the Philadelphia
area. Actually it was the solo project of Halfbreed Billy Gram who was
the lead vocalist/frontman , rhythm guitar player and writer of all the
material on a successful independently released cd album. Touring
members of the group varied. On the album guest players included Gram's
former Saints in Hell cohort Tom Keifer of Cinderella fame. Also
playing in the recording sessions were members of Britny Fox, including
drummer Johnny Dee who has for over a decade been assailing the skins
for Doro. Also Ronnie Younkins of the Kix, Bill Mattson of Tangier,
Kevin Moore of Dandelion, Roger Cox and Jacky Vincent of Bad Romance,
and many others. In 1993, with much and record label interest
surrounding the act, Gram unexpectedly ended the project and walked
away not only from music but from the entire entertainment business.
He returned to the entertainment industry in 2003, a decade after he
walked away.
