Carlos Azcuaga is a Mexican animation filmmaker and teacher. After obtaining his Masters in Animation and the success of his graduation short, Karolina Villarraga's "Migrópolis", he moved to Bogotá to co-direct its TV adaptation, a 13-episode series on immigrant children. In 2012, he co-founded Micufilm, and since has directed 5 short films, including the award-winning "Fuimos Colores", the animated documentary "En Calle", and the Global Dialogues films "Otras Sonrisas" and "Colourmakers". He also teaches animation production and history at the college level.
