Reacting to the Supreme Court's decision to refuse to protect the makers and actors of Tandav from arrest, Konkona on Thursday tweeted: "Almost all involved in the show have read the script and signed the contract! Let's arrest the whole cast and crew?"
Set in Delhi, Tandav revolves around the themes of power, ambition and greed in the world of politics.
Soon after it dropped in Ott space, the series drew the ire of a section of politicians as well as public who claimed the show provokes communal disharmony and hurts Hindu sentiments. Tandav opens with a raging kisaan andolan in Greater Noida over a government decision to turn farm land into a Sez for urbanisation. Soon, the drama throws in students chanting Azadi slogans in a campus called Vnu. A news channel is shown catering to the vested interest of the political power set. Right wing and Left wing politics, dynastic rule dominance and students' crusade -- it's all happening in the series.
Ali Abbas Zafar has picked pieces off news TV headlines abundantly, to fill the nine-episode runtime of his debut show as Ott content creator.

Uh-oh! She is engaged to marry a man who isn't right for her. Mr. Right is right around corner, making his fidgety presence felt in nearly every frame of this launch pad for actress Rati Agnihotri's son Tanuj.
It's only a matter of time before the girl Soniyo, played by debutant Neha Hinge, throws off the wrong ring for the right zing.
Zing is the element curiously unobtainable in this feel-young story. So many youngsters dancing, singing and trying to tell us they're having fun...but.

Mumbai, July 1: Tanuj Virwani says the plot of his debut film "Love U Soniyo" is akin to his mother Rati Agnihotri's 1981 blockbuster "Ek Duuje Ke Liye" -- both films revolve around lovers who belong to different regions.
"Ek Duuje Ke Liye" saw Rati as a North Indian girl who falls in love with a Tamil guy, played by Kamal Haasan. Director Joe Rajan's "Love U Soniyo" revolves around Mark, a Catholic, and Punjabi girl Soniyo, played by former Miss India Neha Hinge, and how they are brought together by fate only to be drawn apart.
Tanuj said: "Yes, quite a coincidence. It wasn't planned and funnily enough we didn't even realise it until midway through the shoot."
"One night after pack up, Joe and I were sitting in.
