- Shoaib is known for his work as a Director, Producer, and Actor for various Indian and International film projects, such as Zindagi Ek Bhanwar, Chacha Chaudhary, Pradhanmantri, The Land of God, and The Return From India. Zindagi Ek Bhanwar, one of his most successful work, is a long-running prime time series on Doordarshan, having had 335 episodes. The series portrays a story that delves into the complexities of politics, highlighting the power of morality over money and influence. Zarina Wahab, Raza Murad,Tej Sapru, Shraddha Singh, Anant Jog are some of the prominent cast members of the show.
Shoaib's other notable work includes producing The Land of God, a critically acclaimed series on Lord Krishna, made for the Ministry of Tourism.
He has also worked as an Associate producer/ Head of the project for international films such as The Open Heart and The Return From India, both of which were directed by Oscar nominee Menahem Golan.
In addition to his film projects, Shoaib has produced/coordinated music for the movie Waisa Bhi Hota Hai-part II, which earned Kailash Kher the Best Singer Award for the song Allah Ke Bande. He has also made TV series for Zee TV and Sahara TV, including Pradhan Mantri and Chacha Choudhary, which were directed by Ketan Mehta. Shoaib has received numerous awards, including the UP Ratan by icfoi in 2016, for his contribution to the entertainment industry.
His upcoming work includes a biographical series on the late Indian educationist and social reformer, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan to be released soon.
Shoaib is inspired by Shahbano and has written a movie called "Banno," which focuses on the issue of Triple Talaq and is set to go into production soon.
He has also made an orientation film called Arkan E Haj, in collaboration with the Central Haj Committee of India, to educate Indian Haj Pilgrims about the dos and don'ts during the pilgrimage.
Shoaib Choudhary comes from a family of politicians, with his maternal grandfather - a very well known socialist leader elected multiple times to the state assembly from diff constituencies of western UP.
His paternal grandfather father too was a politician, elected twice from Amroha & was the youngest minister in the Govind Ballabh Pant's Cabinet from 1946 to 1957.
Shoaib Choudhary completed his schooling at St Mary's Academy in Meerut, and earned his graduation degree from Jamia in New Delhi. Having started his film career in 2000 he owns production companies called Visual Concepts & Dark Horse Productions based in Mumbai and New Delhi.
His wife is an Investment Banker, and both of them have appeared on the FYI TV 18 show Rivals In Law.
