Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, Raz moved to London in 2003 to study for a BA
in Recordings Arts at SAE. Starting with scores for animations and
short films, Raz has since written for feature lengths, including
'Vertigo' (2005) 'Encore' (2007) 'Sophie' (2008) 'Raw Muscle' (2010)
and most recently 'The Ninth Cloud,' set and filmed in East London and
starring French actor Jean Hugh Anglade and Michael Madsen (Reservoir
Dogs/ Kill Bill) due for release in late 2012. He's also working on the
score for 'Twelve,' a short staring 2011 Bafta winning actors. Raz
started Fossil Studios in 2009, and has since worked with an array of
artists, producing for everyone from Gilles Peterson and Clare Maguire
to Ebe Oke (for album 'Valor 2011' - one of Brian Eno's Top 10 albums
that year) Zej ft. Lois Winstone (daughter of Ray), South Africa's
Thandiswa Mazwai (2010 World Cup Opening Ceremony) and most recently,
the UK number one selling Sam & The Womp.
