Sheryl Loucks

Sheryl Loucks was born in Trenton, Ontario, Canada. She earned a
Bachelor of Journalism with a double major in history from Carleton
University, Ontario. She has a post-graduate degree in creative writing
from the Humber School of Writers, a division of Humber College, ON.
Sheryl has worked as a newspaper journalist for several publications including the Picton Gazette, Kingston Whig Standard, Peterborough Examiner, Niagara Falls Review, Haliburton County Echo, Minden Times and was the editor of Bancroft This Week.
Sheryl Loucks was the founding curator and coordinator of R.D. Lawrence Place in 2008 which is a part of the Minden Hills Cultural Centre, ON, Canada. R.D.L.P. is a literary centre and museum dedicated to author Ronald Douglas Lawrence. Sheryl as of 2011 operates R.D.L.P. and develops new programs for the centre.
Sheryl Loucks has published poetry in Ontario and the United States, enjoys amateur acting in local productions and has had stage plays produced/read in her local area.
