Anthony Thomas(XXIII)

Anthony is an Australian actor and voice over artists with over 20 years' experience in leading and supporting roles in film, theatre and television. Often cast as the villain due to his air of menace, effortlessly strong voice and screen presence. He has recently demonstrated his range in feature films such as the highly acclaimed Streets of Color, Into Black and the Manifest. On TV we can see Anthony in the new season of Royal Flying Doctor Service (released internationally in August 2023) Superwogs x 2 episodes, Home and Away, Australian Gangster, Water Rats, Farscape, Secrets and Lies, White Noise and All Saints. He is a series regular Brian Wallace in the soon to be released series Pervert. Anthony has been in numerous short films. From Till Death Do Us Part where he plays a loving husband assisting with his wife's suicide to The Golden Pony as a strip club owner. Sherbrook Downs, The Rose, Sanguine, Nangana (winner of numerous international awards), Absolutes, On the Brink of Vanity, To Catch a Spy, Smile, Pride, Black Dust and many more. He has been a series regular in multi award winning web series After Nightfall and Riot Girl, Music Videos. Several TVCs and corporate videos. In Theatre Anthony has played roles from a grieving father dealing with the loss of his son in One Punch to the comedic Outback Mountain where he plays a kangaroo shooter struggling with his sexuality, The Crucible and the lead role of Jake in Sam Shepards a Lie of the Mind at the New Theatre Newtown. Anthony has also spent some time in the US shooting a pilot TV series SYN (Satisfy Your Needs) where he portrays a murderous, homophobic Southern Detective. In the works for 2023 is a 1900s period drama and independent feature film The Recluse. This year (after some informed encouragement) Anthony completed a demo voice reel and built a professional in-home studio. He is now doing voice over work more regularly.
