Karl Kevad was born on the 4th of June, 1996. The first film he saw was
James Cameron's "Titanic," and the first movie he saw in the theater
was "Jurassic Park III." He began making films in the 6th grade.
His first film was a Borat-style mockumentary about his small town. He
followed that with a series of mockumentaries, before directing his
first "serious" film "Trees."
He edited Jon Karl Jürgenstein's "Vetevana Sigitis," and directed and
co-wrote "Vampire: The Beginning" with him. He directed two plays
before making his next film, "2013 - The New World," a post-apocalyptic
tale about a lone traveler's journey across Estonia.
He most recently wrote and co-directed "A Very Important Thing," a
parody of the Soviet film "The Last Relic."
He is currently developing a crime thriller temporarily titled "The
Killing."
