- Christine's grandpa Peter Helge Aas was a soldier in the battle of Narvik that took place April 9th - June 10th 1940. 80 years later Christine was signed to score the first feature film about this battle which was the biggest to ever take place on Norwegian soil and the first place in which Hitler's soldiers truly met some resistance. The fact that Norwegian soldiers alongside Polish, French and English soldiers were able to push the Germans back so much, gave hope to soldiers throughout all of Europe during the war. Christine's grandpa was bombed in the mountains by two German Messerschmitt airplanes, but luckily survived after months in the hospital.
