Brittany Anikka Liu

Brittany Anikka Liu is a half Chinese, half white, actor and photographer based in Brooklyn, NY. She's been performing her whole life and has acted Off Broadway, in television, film, and at Tony Award-winning regional theaters across the country.
Liu received her BA in Film & Media Studies and BBA in Marketing from College of William & Mary.
Off-Broadway, Liu made her debut in The Convent at The Rattlestick Theater, directed by Daniel Talbott, starred in the workshop of The Feast at Playwrights Horizons directed by Morgan Green and in Chekhov/Tolstoy: Love Stories at the Mint Theater directed by Miles Malleson. New York theater credits include Period Sisters at Here Arts Center; Rapture, Blister, Burn at Tongue in Cheek Theater; and Preexisting Conditions at Corkscrew Theatre Festival. Liu's regional credits include Steel Magnolias at Cincinnati Playhouse and Indiana Rep, Ah, Wilderness! at Hartford Stage; The Diary of Anne Frank at People's Light; Airness at Geva Theatre; Airborne at Williamstown Theater Festival; Tranquil at Luna Stage; Romeo & Juliet, All's Well That Ends Well, Antony & Cleopatra, Julius Caesar and Illyria: The Musical at the Virginia Shakespeare Festival.
In television and film, Liu Guest Starred on Younger for TV Land and starred in the independent features, The Christmas Experience and Fenced Off. Additionally, Liu created, produced and starred in the mockumentary, Carmen Ice, about a fictional pop star.
When she's not performing or holding her Canon, Brittany is most likely dancing to ABBA on her roof (or really anywhere), shooting hoops, camping by a lake, joining a drum circle, hiking a mountain, at the movie theater, or finding the best doughnuts in town. As someone who felt disconnected from her biracial identity, Brittany is thrilled to be a part of MAM (Mixed Asian Media), a collective platform that captures mixed API stories and experiences and shares them across all mediums.
