Sharon M. Tomlinson, born and raised in Chicago, IL is the CEO and founder of Blueprint 4 Hollywood, Studio 11 Films and ITS Marketing, Inc. - innovator, entrepreneur and catalyst, Tomlinson has set standards in the marketing industry throughout the United States, and abroad for over twenty years.
As an innovator Tomlinson is responsible for creating the "Y-Tie", a patented necktie that requires no tying. This unique product earned Tomlinson the highly coveted 1998 award for "New Product of the Year" by the prestigious Apparel Industry Board, "National Small Business Entrepreneur" award, Madam C.J. Walker Spirit award and extensive recognition in national publications such as Entrepreneur Magazine, Black Enterprise and Essence Magazine.
Known in the industry as the "marketing guru", Tomlinson has developed results driven campaigns for organizations such as Universal Music and Video Distribution, Anheuser Busch, Tropicana, Diageo Brands, Soft Sheen-Carson/L'Oreal, Eddie Bauer, Nike, Reebox, Playtex Pantyhose, Harold Washington Commemorative Stamp Project, NAACP, UNCF, HBO Championship fights, PZI Jeans, I'm Ready Productions and a host of celebrity clientèle including the likes of Kevin Hart whom she engaged with her savvy marketing strategies and worked with over a number of years during the beginning of his film career. Hart likens Tomlinson as a "Beast in Marketing".
Having worked in the music industry for over ten years, Tomlinson is well versed in brand equity and diverse marketing and currently manages an upcoming Country Music Artist "Kendra Norwood".
Tomlinson's efforts earned her recognition for signature events and programs such as her most recent brainchild, Studio 11 Films, "The 11Eleven11 Project" that has garnered tremendous media attention. The projects initiative was to develop filmmakers, whereby 11 writers, 11 directors, 11 producers and 11 celebrity mentors came together to create 11 short films in 11 months. Studio 11 Films has fast tracked its way in the industry launching the 11 short films at the Prestigious Bronze Lens Film Festival and receiving an award for the film "Never Alone" at the Georgia Entertainment Awards Gala.
Other events include an Annual Celebrity Basketball Game for the City of Chicago for over five years, branded Mansion networking socials, themed events for corporate sponsors and clients and countless fund raisers for non-profit organizations.
In 2011, Tomlinson utilizing her marketing genius was responsible for bringing a multi- talented actress an entrepreneur, and TV Show star LisaRaye McCoy to PZI Jeans, launching the LisaRaye all White collection by PZI.
From 2002-2006, Tomlinson was the Marketing Consultant of choice for HBO Championship Fights in Las Vegas, activating the special events surrounding select fights. She worked as Tour Manager/Marketing Director for several National Touring Stage Plays that broke box office sales records from 2004-2008.
In October 2011 Tomlinson was promoted to National Market Manager for the Marketing Team of Anheuser Busch Beer Brands activating sampling programs for 6 different markets including the 2013 All-Star Game in Houston, TX.
Upon relocating to Atlanta, GA Tomlinson noticed the need for infusing her marketing tactics into aspiring actors and the need for educating them on how to succeed in the entertainment industry. Tomlinson opened up Atlanta's premiere Acting Studio - Blueprint 4 Hollywood. In less than 2 years the studio had much success of their actors booking major roles on television and in feature films.
Tomlinson currently resides in Atlanta, GA with her husband and five year old son and was recently featured in the "I am Mother" book celebrating the trials and triumphs of motherhood. Written by Karyn Greer, veteran broadcaster and longtime anchor for NBC's Atlanta affiliate, 11 Alive.
Tomlinson's philosophy is to "create don't wait" and wants to inspire aspiring entrepreneurs to "follow their instincts and don't ever give up. When you believe, you will "Receive".
