Zeus Oira
- Actor
Born Zeus Louis Oira on 27 April 1992 in San Diego, CA, he is the son of Luzanta Cuenco, a former registered nurse, and Zeus Mariano Gregorio Oira, a retired-navy seal. Though he and his dad share the same first name, he does not refer himself as a Jr. Zeus is the youngest of two children, with an older sister, Grace. He is a first generation American-born Filipino as both his parents immigrated from the Philippines; with his mother from Samar, and his dad from Manila. Upon graduating public school, he attended San Diego State University through the Compact for Success program. After flip flopping between majors in Psychology and Theater, he decided to pursue theater out of nothing else interesting him in his studies. During his studies, he performed in two touring Shakespeare productions ('Romeo & Juliet' and 'Comedy of Errors') through the Arts Alive program lead by Dani Bedau.
Naturally shy, Zeus developed interest in entertaining after performing a poem with a friend in his 5th grade class, where he notes is the first time he caught the "acting bug". He has continued cultivating his passion throughout public education, summer programs at South Western Community College, and on his own free time. He began studying at Stuart Rogers' Studios in North Hollywood in April 2022.
