Jessica Guess
- Actress
Determined early on to become a dancer, Jessica Guess put on her first
ballet shoes at the age of five. Although ballet is not her
specialty-she is still training hard in those shoes, and many others.
At the age of nine, she bravely auditioned in her home town of Ft.
Worth, Texas for Ms. Debbie Allen (along with 800 other hopefuls). It
was to be the first children's production ever in the new Bass Hall and
the thrill of meeting Ms. Allen was too much to pass up. It turned out
to be a life changing event and Jesse has never looked back. She was
chosen as one of the 69 member cast for that production and the thrill
of the stage was to remain permanent. In addition to many Ballet and
musical productions and spending summers training in New York,
Philadelphia and Florida, at the age of 14, Ms. Allen waved her magic
wand again and this time, Jessica landed squarely in tinsel town. As an
advanced scholarship student at Ms. Allen's famed dance academy in Los
Angeles, she has had the opportunity to train in every discipline and
has been privileged to work with some of the most famous and talented
masters in the business. Jesse has also made some student films, a few
videos and several major productions with Ms. Allen. She recently made
a short film entitled "HIV Blues" and has danced with Terry Beeman in
his productions of "Bound" and "The Closing." Jessica has also had the
privilege to be involved in special performances for Steven Spielberg,
Clint Eastwood, Piece Brosnan, Catherine Zeta Jones, Michael Douglas
and many more.
Jessica's first feature film role was in Brandon Powell's film "Trial by Self."
