The FBI Warned That Lady Gaga’s $500,000 Reward for Her Dogs’ Return Would ‘Open Up a Pandora’s Box’
In February 2021, Lady Gaga made headlines for a reason not related to her music or acting career — her two French bulldogs, Koji and Gustav, were stolen in a robbery. Gaga’s assistant, who was walking the dogs, was shot in the process.
Fortunately, her dog walker, Ryan Fischer, survived, and Gaga immediately offered an enormous reward of $500,000 — no questions asked — for the safe return of her pups. It was clearly effective, as Jennifer McBride turned the dogs in. In the process, five people, including McBride herself, were arrested for the crime.

Now, two years later, McBride is suing Gaga for failing to pay her the $500,000, according to Buzzfeed News. Since McBride pleaded no contest to being involved in the crime, Gaga surely is in no hurry to pay her. That being said, a former FBI agent once warned her that something like this could happen,...

Lady Gaga promised a $500,000 award for the return of her French bulldogs Koji and Gustav after they were stolen in a February 24, 2021 robbery that left her dog walker critically wounded.
Now, Jennifer McBride, a 50-year-old woman who was connected to and arrested for the dognapping but returned the dogs two days later, is suing Lady Gaga for three times that amount, claiming that Gaga’s failure to pay the reward has caused her mental anguish, pain, suffering and instability.
According to court documents, McBride’s attorney said that the 13-time Grammy award-winning artist had breached a “no questions asked” agreement and that she hid an “intent to defraud and induce members of the public, such as Plaintiff, to rely upon it and act upon said promise by locating and delivering [her] bulldogs to Defendants.”
Following the robbery, McBride was given two years probation and charged with one count of receiving stolen property.

The woman who returned Lady Gaga’s dogs, and was then arrested for being an accomplice to the incident in which dog-walker Ryan Fischer was shot and the singer’s two dogs abducted, has launched a lawsuit.
According to People, documents filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court indicate that Jennifer McBride is suing Gaga, claiming she’s owed the $500,000 reward that was offered for the safe return of the two French bulldogs, Koji and Gustav — despite the fact that McBride was one of five people arrested in connection with the theft of the dogs and shooting of Fischer.

When Lady Gaga’s French bulldogs were recovered two days after armed assailants stole them and nearly killed the pop star’s dogwalker last February, Los Angeles police said the woman who returned the dogs appeared to be an “uninvolved” good Samaritan.
Two months later, that same woman, Jennifer McBride, was arrested and charged in the case alongside three alleged dognappers and the father of one of the suspects.
In new court documents obtained by Rolling Stone, prosecutors describe exactly how investigators painstakingly linked McBride to her co-defendants and cracked...

Lady Gaga has more than a few weights lifted off her shoulders. For the past week, the music superstar has experienced an emotional roller coaster after her dog walker Ryan Fischer was shot in Los Angeles. But after Gaga's dogs were recovered safely and Ryan was given good news that he will recover from his injuries, things are looking up for the Fame Monster. Ryan Fischer is speaking out after he was shot while walking Lady Gaga's dogs last week. On Monday, the singer's dog walker recalled the terrifying incident in two separate posts on Instagram. Ryan had been walking Gaga's three French bulldogs, Asia, Koji, and Gustav, when he was shot in the chest and the assailants took off with Koji and Gustav, who, thankfully, were returned on Friday night.
"A lot of healing still needs to happen, but I look forward to the future and the moment when I get bombarded with kisses and licks (and maybe even an excitement pee?) from Asia, Koji, and Gustav."
"4 days ago, while a car sped away and blood poured from my gun shot wound, an angel trotted over and laid next to me. My panicked screams calmed as I looked at her,...
