Eric Liming
- Actor
Eric Liming was born in Hamilton, Ohio in the spring of 1969. Growing up in Ohio and Michigan, he participated in plays, choir and stage art throughout his young life. In 1990, serving in the air force in Montana, he met actor/director Bill "Freight Train" and Tiffany McLean (Scooter McGruder, How To Kill A Zombie), and created a videotaped comedy movie called, "Search for the Holy Grill" (a play on Monty Python's "Holy Grail" film from 15 years earlier). The tape was presented to base service members to entertain them as the military was preparing for the eventual Desert Storm. While attending college in Maine, Liming would go on to provide security (uncredited) for the set of "Head Above Water" (1996), starring Harvey Keitel, Cameron Diaz and Billy Zane, where he would learn special effects and cinematography tips from members of the crew between takes. In 2000, Liming and McLean auditioned together for the film "Shadow Glories" (aka "The Fight"), and would win the roll of "Rowdy Guy." McClean would go on to play the role of "Referee," while Eric's work obligations prevented him from attending the filming. In 2011, Eric Liming played the part of "Guy With Gun In Commercial" in the award-winning Freight Train Films comedy "Scooter McGruder." Liming resides in Cincinnati, where he maintains a YouTube channel, highlighting some of his special effects shorts. He is locally noted for painting large, commissioned, highly visible murals in the Cincinnati area.
