Zana Vannasing

Zana Vannasing was born May 25, 1990 in Hayward, California. She was
brought up in a tri-lingual household by her family. Her father,
Chanpheng and mother, Vicky (former refugees) worked two jobs to
support the family resulting in Zana being raised by her grandparents.
Being a first generation Laotian-American greatly influenced her desire to excel. She graduated from James Logan High School in 2008 and brought the commencement ceremony to a close with a farewell speech. She now attends the University of Nevada Las Vegas majoring in Hospitality Management and is expected to graduate spring of 2012.
While attending UNLV, Zana discovered her love for entertainment and decided to pursue a career in acting. With her summer session free she packed her bags and headed to Los Angeles. Zana immediately enrolled at Margie Haulber's Studio where she took her first acting class with instructor Barbara Gannen.
