Pope Jackson is a father and a multiple award winning Harlem native. He
completed his first award winning documentary while still attending
high school. Pope is proud to be apart of "Central Avenue Breakdown"
Additional credits include "The Death of A Dream" (PM,TD,LD); "The
Domestic Crusaders" (SM), "Monk" (SM), "HerStory" (DIR), "Call me
Crazy: Diary of a Mad Social Worker" (DIR,LD) & worldwide radio drama
"High Ground, Ancient Jersey & The Aliens"(Actor). He started his own
Production company ACTUATOR Inc & Award Winning Design team Onyx Arts.
Pope has received recognition for advocating & educating the learned
behavior of Domestic Violence through a Proclamation from the Mayor of
NYC, Michael R. Bloomberg, deeming Oct 30, 2009 the "Death of a Dream"
day. He was recognized July 2012 with Citations from NY State Senator
Gustavo Rivera, NY State Assembly Woman Vanessa L. Gibson, NY City
Council Majority Leader Jose Rivera & NY City Community Board #6 for
outstanding community service as an citizen, artist and with my
company's work in the arts. He has also won the NY 48 hour Film
Project(2005), worked on a Grammy nominated album with Wynton Marsalis
(2006) & has Stage Managed at the World Famous Apollo Theater.
