- I love the dark. I like the darkness, I forget all my efforts when I look at the stars in the dark sky. I like to stay in the dark, to be alone with myself. I like to look at the efforts of the stars from the sky, trying to shine in such a dark place. The opposite of their brilliance in such a place, becomes a very valuable thing for me. Or being left alone with myself I reflect best in the dark. In the dark I can see the light very clearly. And this means something, it shows me the inner path. When I have to make decisions about my life, I try to make the most correct and logical decision, and in those moments, I look at the darkness much more intensely, as through a wide window. Some do not like the darkness, it seems frightening to them, but I love it because it has its candor and his clarity. I grew up in such a family atmosphere, where there was a lot of love and very strong values, ... I always tried to approach my brother not as a brother, but as a friend. Of course, my brother is not so well known but I always wanted only the best for him. And of course, the whole family turned to him and, to answer this question .. my brother is not like me, but I have a brother like a lion. The pride he feels for me, I feel even more for him.
- I can not express my feelings.I do not make sudden decisions,I think. From the beginning I acted according to my instinct in this profession,I listened to my inner voice. I think that if you send beautiful energies,if you know how to ask yourself,if you are in the right place, at the right time and if you have talent, your dreams can be fulfilled. My soul is old.If you saw the life I have through, you would say:Old man,you did your job.
- In general, I do not reflect my feelings outside, but I try to behave as I feel from the inside. I live the way I feel. In fact, love does not provide us much visual field. In America, for the first time I was alone with myself for so long. Immediately after Medcezir I made the film Delibal, I didn't go on vacation before. It was good for me to leave. The child in me provides my energy. I always sang songs myself. Then I decided to add an instrument to it, I learned to play the guitar. Together with the film I met the drums, which have now become a passion. It's a tool like therapy, it clears your mind.
- Being a human ... Being a man does not mean raising a hand at a woman, rather I can tell you to shake his hand. First of all, my mother, my future wife, the neighbor on the street that I embrace, the young girls of today who tomorrow will be loving mothers, in short, I can show my gratitude to all the women around me; so I can pay some of the debt towards them. Although domestic violence covers all family members, because most of the victims are women, I will refer here mainly to women. From the income obtained through this campaign more shelters can be created for these women, assistance can be given to the emergency telephone line, psychological counseling, even for the children in the same situation. In this way, women who face the loss of self-confidence and self-esteem can be helped . And then we are likely to become human.
- To this day, I haven't forgotten any of the characters I recreated. Every one of them is somewhere in me. And, probably, they understand each other much better, because they are very stable characters. Character strength is one of the most common characteristics observable. I didn't leave anything on the road, they come along with me, we are on the same road and we go together (refers to the characters). From each characters I borrowed something. I am actually a simple and genuine person in my daily life. I try to be as modest as possible. Of course ,all of the characters who I perform, carry something from within me. They all have their own special place in my heart and I love all of them. I work constantly to add something to myself and to the character I am acting. I learned how to play drums for my character Baris, and I learned infighting and how to use guns for Sarp. Acting is very open for improvement, which is why I learn something new all the time. Good work requires a good effort. Due to the respect I have to myself and to the work that I do, I believe I need to improve myself for the people who watch me on the screens.
- I have always been interested in sports. I play basketball, make swimming, diving. And with the martial arts I started when the character Sarp from Icerde, entered in my life. I learned that the person who makes a very intense physical and mental effort, through sports, helps to relieve stress. And the most important thing is that people learn, after a series of successive movements, to pose in what they actually are. I think this is a quality that is required of man in every sphere of his life. As a human being, the expression "I haven't changed at all" is like a cliche! I always did as I felt.
- Honesty it is the most important thing I value in human relationships. Maybe professional work has telepathically developed my feelings. After all, this profession is based on feelings. There are many things I learned from acting. This job gave me a lot of positive things, taught me to be responsible. When you are responsible for the work you do when you feel that you have been shown proper and sincere respect, you cannot describe the peace and happiness you feel. That satisfying feeling for me is the most precious thing I have gained from my work. In a short period of time I learned to be happy, not with the material side of things, but with the spiritual side. Working for me does not mean acquiring material things, I have learned to be happy with spirituality.
- When you walk on the street you can feel the air is different. It's very old and it has a heart. It's not just a regular city. You can feel that blend of modern and historical aspects of the city and it's one of the big promises of the show to the audience: to showcase the contrasts between both worlds. It's been a humbling experience to introduce Turkey and Istanbul to a new audience through the show. I prefer performing my own stunts instead of using a body double. I work with a personal trainer for the fight scenes and other choreography.
- I believe that I have to constantly improve myself in my work for the people who follow me, love and support me, and of course they are with me. On the contrary, I believe that criticism is of great benefit. Let's not forget and on my followers who love and support me, I follow their comments and criticisms. After all, we do a job what we are hoping does the people will like.
- We are working under more humane conditions than those in most other Turkish TV series. Netflix uses a different production system. We work just 10 hours a day, five days a week. I feel more productive, and so do the other talents and the crew. Typically, each episode in a Turkish TV series is, like, 120-150 minutes long. That means you have to work much harder to wrap up an episode in a week. With this show, a lot is changing in terms of the approach to storytelling, locations, characters and also working conditions. It's like the rules of the game are being rewritten.
- [when asked about what miracles are] When we say miracles, it always sounds like they are huge, important things that happen inexplicably. I don't think that's the case. It may be a cliche, but I am one of those people who believe that life is a miracle from beginning to end. And this is not just one person's life. It's life itself. It can be found in bearing witness to the miracle of life's spontaneity.
