Christopher Brian Halvorson wrote the novel Kaitlyn's Wheel, a teen sci-fi romance published by Bancroft Press. He co-created the limited series It Won't Always Be This Great with Seinfeld writer/producer Peter Mehlman. The series is adapted from Mehlman's novel of the same title. Chris wrote The Boondoggle, a feature screenplay that was packaged by CAA and developed for Joe Roth Films with Steve Carr (Paul Blart: Mall Cop) attached to direct. He adapted his published novel The Santa Suit for Frank Konigsberg Productions, followed by other TV development projects for the same company. He's been hired for numerous rewrites, including an unproduced comedy for Jose Rodriguez, producer of Planet 51; and a page one rewrite of the action spy comedy Best Served Cold that was in development with Pierce Brosnan's Irish DreamTime. He co-created the sitcom pilot Earth Mom, which he produced with Home Alone producer Scott Rosenfelt. A native of Seattle, he follows the Seahawks and Mariners more than Bigfoot or notorious aliens in the Pacific Northwest. MFA film graduate of Columbia University; he double-majored in Professional Writing and History at the University of North Alabama.
