Born and originally hailing from Poland, Martyna has established herself as a globetrotting cinematographer, exploring diverse storytelling and capturing the essence of locations worldwide through her lens.
Martyna has an extensive portfolio including TV series 'Snowspider' directed by Jennifer Sheridan for the BBC, and the BAFTA-nominated 'Silverpoint' series directed by Dan Zeff and Marek Losey for both the BBC and Hulu. Most recently, Martyna lensed the BBC series 'A Kind of Spark' centred around neurodiverse teenagers navigating the challenges of fitting in, while unravelling the unusual 16th-century story of their town.
Martyna's film credits include Jennifer Sheridan's 'Rose,' which was nominated for a BIFA award, and Christian Cooke's upcoming film 'Embers' starring Ruth Bradley.
Martyna was named as a Broadcast Hot Shot in 2023, and has also been featured in the prestigious 'Meet the New Wave' article of the BSC Magazine for December 23.
