Andreas Matthew Finn was was born in the small town
of Slave Lake, Northern Alberta, Canada. After being adopted at a young
age by a European parents he was moved, growing up in Calgary, Alberta.
Being born Metis, First Nations and part Caucasian even influenced his
artwork from an early age, with the support of his parents. He would
continue to expand on his creative roots drawing through every grade of
school as well as working on his first animation project (claymation)
in grade 12.
Simultaneously Andreas would advance his artistic endeavors by taking numerous courses at the Alberta College of Art and Design. Then he would later graduate Post Secondary from Applied Multi-Media Training Center in the field of 3D Computer Animation (MAYA), Traditional Animation (2D) and Film. Professional training related to Film could be briefly summarized into several skill sets. Directing, Lighting, Composition, Script Writing, Story Boarding and Editing.
Creation was not his only passion as Andreas spent many years in competitive gymnastics in the University of Calgary Gymnastics program, overlapping and followed by smooth transition into Martial Arts where immediately he met with success. While he recreationally played Soccer and Squash for over 20 years, only Soccer met with similar success as Martial Arts. In terms of recreational athletics, Andreas still plays sports ranging from Hockey to Volleyball.
Entering the official world of credited amateur film productions in 2010, Andreas has several projects in the works with co-founder of LWR Productions, Jeff Stevenson. An undisclosed personal project has also entered pre-production, projected for 2013.
