Richard Felix Fortin should not be mixed up with his uncle Richard Fortin, a background actor in numerous Austrian movies until his death in the 1960s. Richard Fortin mostly appeared in quasi-historic movies, as his looks were those of the 'typical' general or nobleman of the Austro-Hungarian empire. The most successful film he appeared in was the Sisi-trilogy starring Romy Schneider and Karl-Heinz Böhm.
