Patrick Gill, is an award winning composer and music producer from the UK. He is best known for his film work on 'Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist and "Street Fighter: Resurrection" (Capcom) from director, actor Joey Ansah (The Bourne Ultimatum, Mission Impossible: Fallout, The Old Guard) and produced by Mark Wooding and Jacky Quella. Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist became popular among fans and is regarded as one of the most faithful video game franchise adaptations.
Patrick was born in Plymouth, in the county of Devon, England. His passion for music began at an early age. Patrick is a classically trained pianist and makes use of vintage analogue synths, digital synths, and exotic instruments, including the Waterphone. His music predominantly leans towards thematic and emotional writing in a traditional, nostalgic, and modern cinematic style.
His music has featured in a variety of motion pictures, films, TV shows, and ad campaigns, including the trailer campaign for Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, starring Idris Elba, Art of Action series hosted by Scott Adkins, The Project (Australian Chat show) and a launch event for Nintendo 3DS. Feature films Paintball Massacre (Uncork'd Entertainment) and the Dutch film 'Suriname' (Pathé Thuis). Patrick also composed music for Australian filmmakers Danny and Michael Phillipou (Rackaracka) for their short "Real Life Mortal Kombat Fatalities," which gained over 19 million views on YouTube.
Patrick has also produced music for various contemporary artists, including Toronto synth pop / synth-wave act Dana Jean Phoenix. He has composed for Streetlight Films UK, Immediate Music, Gothic Storm, Mentorn Media, The London Film Academy, Machinima and the Louvre International School for Sri Lanka Television.
