1st Generation Cuban-American, Marcos Antonio Formoso, was born on December 5th, 1981. He was raised in the Township of North Bergen, New Jersey. Being so close to the infamous New York City, he was raised in a melting pot of people and culture. Something that, to this day, attributes to his humbling personality.
In 1993, Marcos distinctly recalls watching John Leguizamo's Spic-O-Rama special on HBO, on the sneak since he wasn't old enough to. He knew from that moment he wanted to perform so, he did. Entertaining the family at gatherings with impressions inspired by not only Leguizamo but Robin Williams, Eddie Murphy, Andrew Dice Clay, Howie Mandell, Billy Crystal, and eventually Jim Carey.
After graduating high school, Marcos attended American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City but due to family circumstances, had to leave after only 1 year. Yet in that one year, Marcos found another passion in the industry, screenwriting.
Over time Marcos self-produced, wrote, and directed a few shorts but unfortunately, the social norms of society locked him down in the 9-5 world...until 2020.
After moving to Miami, Marcos (like many) lost his job and told himself to get back to his dream BUT he needed money. So, he answered a random ad for a warehouse worker that brought him into the world of Art Department with industry vet, Jerry Blohm. In these last 3 years, Marcos has gained an array of experience working on set and is now becoming a paid Actor and Screenwriter.
