This isn't quite what we expected from a Straight Outta Compton sequel, but we'll take it! Ice Cube and O'Shea Jackson Jr. recently dropped by 2Day FM's The Dan & Maz Show to introduce N.W.A—Nannas With Attitude. These tough walkin' (or wheelin', actually) grandmas have rhythm—so much so, actually, that Ice Cube was "ready to shoot the movie" after watching only the first few moments of their surefire hit, "Straight Outta Aged Care." The rapper and his son were such big fans of the parody that they happily introduced it for hosts Dan Debuf and Maz Compton. Both were in stitches (from laughing, that is) as together, they forewarned, "You are now about to...

Britney Spears Says She Feels "Artsy Fartsy" When She Paints Topless While Listening to Mariah Carey
Britney Spears perked up when she was asked about Mariah Carey Thursday. The singer phoned in to The Dan & Maz Show on Sydney's 2Day FM radio station, where co-hosts Dan Debuf and Maz Compton asked if she's run into the pop diva in Las Vegas yet. "I haven't actually," the "Pretty Girls" singer confessed. "Our paths just haven't crossed." "I love Mariah Carey. Still to this day. I was painting in my room. I have an art room, and I just paint on the walls and do all this kind of crazy stuff. I bought her greatest hits, and her new Infinity record yesterday, and I was just in there with my top off, just like painting and doing all this artsy fartsy stuff. I love her. I love her...

After a challenging 2012, the lines have been drawn and the troops are in position for the 2013 radio year. Colin Delaney looks across the country at the old and new faces and the biggest fights on the cards in the battle for the ratings win.
2012 was a tumultuous year for Australia’s radio industry. Marred by several well-publicised incidents, the reputations and standing of talent, management and key brands in the space took a beating, as did the image of the medium as a whole.
But the stage is now set for the battle of 2013 after the ratings season begins on January 20 and those in the industry Encore spoke to are hopeful the coming 12 months will see a turnaround with a number of new additions to the talent lineup and the return of many industry veterans. Um CEO Mat Baxter believes one show in particular will be a major game changer...

The Today Network is to replace its nightly Hot 30 – which was axed in the wake of the suicide of British nurse Jacintha Saldanha after a prank call – with a new interactive program called The Bump.
The Bump will be hosted by former Adelaide Safm breakfast host Angus O’Loughlin, who will move to Sydney to host the national progarm.
He will replace royal pranksters Michael Christian and Mel Greig who remain on stress leave. Mumbrella understands they have been told they can return to the network in unspecified roles if they wish to.
The Bump will feature celebrity interviews, while the music will be programmed by listeners via social media.
Meanwhile Nova’s Adelaide breakfast team Dan Debuf and Maz Compton will join the Today Network in March when their contracts end, and host a 6pm-8pm national show. The Bump will then follow them.
