- I love the craft of acting and I do theatre, television and films only because I love acting. I don't have any reservations when it comes to these three mediums. When I was doing theatre, I realised it was not paying enough so I looked at television and after several years of hardships I got my due because of television and eventually films happened.
- Earlier, I was known as Ram (Kapoor)'s sister and now, Kapil's wife. At the end of the day, it's your work that people acknowledge you for.
- I wonder why film promotions happen on tv then... ?? So easy to look down upon tv artists & pass judgement! Hina Khan, we have never met but u Nailed the red carpet & sure make us the "tv actors" proud!
- [on Kapil's fight with Sunil] I actually don't know, because I wasn't even there. I was lucky. Thank god, I wasn't there.
- Even if I was not a part of Kapil's team, I will still promote my film on his show. Kapil is an exceptionally talented, down-to-earth guy who respects everyone. The way he treats the spot boy to the way he conducts himself with Bollywood celebs, he is really a very good guy. So there is no question of me going on any other show.
- Theatre doesn't pay the bills. That's a fact everyone is aware of. I had to look at my career and see if everything was alright financially. Today, I am in a position where money is great and [my career in] television is going well. Honestly, I wasn't looking to do a play; this just fell into my lap. It was an amazing script and I just couldn't say no to it. Finally, I had the time and didn't need to bother about money.
- I have been to the NCPA auditorium as part of the audience, but to go there as an actor is a different experience. It gives me a great high to be able to perform on stage. I used to be on the stage throughout my school and college days. So, I am literally returning to my first love
- [on her decision to quit smoking] 2 Years Ago! the week following a dear friend's birthday... I QUIT. Simply went cold turkey. No nicotine patch, no vape. Nothing. Haven't touched since then. Was it difficult, hell yeah. But now my body rejects smoke. Can't stand in a room where people are smoking anymore.
