The premiere of "Fingerprints," her debut collection, took place in October 2004 at the "Defile na Neve" festival. The showing caused a stormy stir in the fashion world of St. Petersburg with its content, as well as its level of presentation. Pop Stars and Media personalities from Moscow and St. Petersburg took on the roles of models and presented the collection on the catwalk. The Italian brand MOTTO ALFREDO (one of the leading companies in the production of leather and fur) recognized Alina German's collection as the best, awarding the creator with a grant to train in Italy, along with an exclusive contract.
In 2004, Alina German's collection was named leading stylist in the RUSSIAN VOGUE IMAGE ATELIER. In 2004, Alina German worked on the images of participants of the TV project "Star Factory 4", on the main Russian TV channel. Alina German became the first Russian stylist and fashion designer, to create styles for Western pop stars. She worked with the band LONDON BEAT, the singer C.C. CATCH, and the composer TOTO CUTUGNO. Alina German served as the lead stylist at the VOGUE IMAGE ATELIER for North-Western Russia. 2004 was also the year she launched her own brand, "GIA by Alina German".
In 2005, Alina German became a strategic designer for the famous sports brand GREEN HILL and she was a stylist for the tennis player Elena Dementieva (fifth in the world rankings) and soccer player Sergei Ovchinnikov (club "Lokomotiv", the goalkeeper for the national team).In 2005 Alina German created the costumes for the big budget Russian film; "Rush hour", which starred several of Russian's most famous actors. Later that year she was awarded the "Best Designer of the Year" award by the Russian TV channel "Fashion TV" for 2004/2005". In 2005 she presented her collection «Business Dolls» in Kiev (Ukraine) and Almaty (Kazakhstan).
In 2006 she worked as creative director on the film "Street Racers". In 2006 she also went to London to study design at Saint-Martins University. In 2007 she opened her first boutique «Ikra Multibrand». In that same year she had a fashion show for her collection "Ikra". Also in 2007, Alina designed the costumes for the New Year's musical «Kingdom of Curved Mirrors», participating in this most prestigious of Russian television projects. This grandiose musical fairy tale assembled a huge group of Russian show business icons. In 2008 she presented her fashion show for the collection called «Orientation to Provocation». Also in 2008 she launched the «Happiness by Alina German» label. In 2008 she presented her fashion collection «Farewell the weapon».
In 2008 she designed the costumes for a New Year's musical "Goldfish", which included many of Russia's biggest stars. In 2009 she did a personal exhibition in Milan and participated as costume designer for the New Year's musical "A Gold Key". Also from 2009-2010 she was the creative director of the musical of "A Body Part", in New York City. For the past four years from 2011 to 2015 she has focused on her design labels.
