Omarr Dixon was raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, and spent most of
his young life doing sports. In 1996 he was the first high jumper at
the USA Olympic Trials and in 1997 he signed with the NFL Dallas
Cowboys as a free agent. Pursuing his acting and performing career with
the same passion that he pursued his athletic career, has yielded
results for Omarr. Now Omarr is also a sports anchor and host, and
travels the globe promoting sport for both fitness and motivation. He
is also part of the cast of "Champion: Motivation in Motion" along with
other Olympians and celebrity athletes. Omarr has enjoyed success in
TV, film and modeling campaigns, nationally and internationally. Omarr
has two books, scheduled for release. Represented by Michelle Zeitlin,
More Zap Productions & Management, along with other regional talent
agencies to support his alternative and scripted assignments, Omarr has
opened up more options with work in Los Angeles-- flying in and out of
Los Angeles busy with film and pilot TV projects in Atlanta with TBS,
Tyler Perry, and in Florida, where Omarr has his own real estate
development company, and is father to triplets.
