Richard Fueller
- Actor
- Director
- Cinematographer
Rich Fueller was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and grew up in
Dallas, Texas. Since his teens, he has made personal movies viewed by
few. In late 2003, he and friend Andre Cannizzaro traveled to Colorado
to film a movie about the band Modest Mouse, without their consent,
subsequently pissing them off. The result of this ordeal was the
unreleased "Point A to Point B: A Modest Documentary". Rich's next
movie, "Look Pretty For The Camera" was a small character study of a
wannabe rock star living in Denton, Texas. It was screened at several
bars in the Dallas area, but was never officially released. Fueller
continues to focus on musicians, occasionally filming live shows by
bands like The Uncontrollable Urge and Pelican Skeleton. Throughout
2006, Rich collected a massive amount of video of important events and
mundane moments and has compiled a video time capsule to be viewed in
2026 entitled "2006: From a Small House on a crowded Street" In 2008,
he followed the Dallas-based German techno Nazi-obsessed group,
Telethön, developing a feature-length documentary in the process. A
year later, Rich made "Fiesta", yet another unreleased feature which
explores the overall draw of Portland, OR. He visits several of his
artist friends who have moved there from Texas, namely the talented
singer-songwriter, Blake Mackey.
