Max Lawrence was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in the neighboring
suburb of Silver Spring, Maryland. Growing up, he
excelled in martial arts, soccer, and basketball. However, he found a
love for the performing arts and story-telling during his high school
years.
Max went on to attend Ithaca College, where he graduated magna cum
laude with a BFA degree in Acting. He has a wide background in various
voice, speech, movement, and mask techniques, and has a special passion
for classical theatre.
Since his arrival to Los Angeles, Max has been seen in several television shows and films, as well as both national
and regional commercials. He has lent his voice to many high-profile projects and has performed on some of the premier
classical stages in the Los Angeles area. He has also found
opportunities to teach Shakespeare to students and families in areas of
Southern California that are lacking arts programs.
In his spare time, Max enjoys writing, cooking, and playing Texas Hold
'Em poker. He continues to play recreational basketball, and is a huge
fan of college sports.
