- John Morgan is a Film and Television actor, based out of New York City. He is best known for his work in Chatsworth (2023) and his appearance as Jeffery MacDonald in the FX Mini-Series, "A Wilderness of Error" (2020).
John Morgan graduated with a BFA in Film Directing from Purchase College's Conservatory of Film in 2013 and is a former non-union cameraman and production assistant. Continuing to pursue his creativity in the industry, he retired from working as a camera technician, and started to pursue acting professionally in 2018.
John Morgan debuted as an actor at 17, in an adaptation of Andre Gregory's "Alice In Wonderland" with Hudson Guild's Community Theatre Company in New York, in which he played The Mad Hatter, The Caterpillar, and Humpty Dumpty. Shortly after, John starred in the short film "Tear" (2008) by Magnus Pind Bjerre. Later, while pursuing his BFA in Film at SUNY Purchase, John continued to act in numerous student productions over the course of five years.
John Morgan expanded more into online media with the launch of Cinema Obscura on YouTube in 2017. Since 2021 he has taken a break from producing YouTube content, to focus his attention more on acting and producing independent films.- IMDb Mini Biography By: John Morgan
