Official Twitter account of Disney Plus Japan unveiled a new trailer and key visual for the upcoming Sand Land anime series, titled Sand Land: The Series, on March 18, 2024.
The trailer previews the series’ opening theme song, “Water Carrier,” performed by Kroi, as well as the ending theme song, “Drive My Idea,” performed by Tempalay.

Sand Land: The Series will premiere on March 20, 2024, making its debut with the first seven episodes simultaneously on Disney+ Star’s “Star Anime Series” programming. Following the debut, episodes 8-13 will be released weekly, with each episode dropping every Wednesday.
For viewers in the U.S., the series will also stream on Hulu.
The first six episodes, titled the “Akuma no Oji” (Prince of Demons) arc, will be a retelling of the Sand Land anime film, but adapted into a series format with some added footage.

Netflix anime continues on the move, as the streamer announced the feature film Drifting Home for a 2022 premiere, and updated the casts, dates and teasers on several other projects.
