- Awarded on waivers to the Cleveland Browns from the Cincinnati Bengals. The Browns intend to try him as a wide-out; Pryor announced he wants to switch positions in an effort to prolong his career. In his NFL career as a quarterback, Pryor is 170 of 302 passes for 1,953 yards with 9 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, and has 627 yards rushing. [June 22, 2015].
- QB selected by the Oakland Raiders in the third round of the 2011 supplemental draft out of Ohio State. Pryor left Ohio State in June 2011 amid suspicion that he and five other players, including Dan Herron, Solomon Thomas, and Devier Posey, had received improper benefits, including cars and money for autographs, in violation of NCAA rules. Ohio State vacated all of its wins from the 2010 season, including its Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl titles, and placed the football program on two years' probation; Pryor's Sugar Bowl MVP award was vacated due to the sanctions. The NCAA placed Ohio State on an additional one year's probation, and banned it from post-season play in 2012. The scandal lead to the resignation of head coach Jim Tressel.
