- Marissa loves Germany and has visited Germany many times. Marissa studied the German language abroad in Germany, has many friends there, and has a great appreciation for the country.
- Marissa, as a singer, recording artist, and on stage performer reveals that vocally, she has been most heavily influenced by the famous Latin singer Luis Miguel. She uses his music to strengthen her vocals and also performs some of his music for live shows. Her musical style is also influenced by some of her favorite singers growing up: Cher, Janet Jackson, and Shania Twain. Marissa's original music combines elements of all of these unique and talented entertainers. Her final product is a a unique combination of genres that can be categorized as pop/country/Latin/rock/dance.
- Marissa is a licensed Mental Health Therapist in the state of Utah and the state of California. She has worked with many types of clinical populations, but she is especially fond of helping children and adolescents.
- Marissa was born in the town of Mountain View, California. She is a Bay Area native, having lived in the town of Morgan Hill, California until the age of 18 when she moved to the state of Utah to attend college and graduate school.
- San Diego, CA: Marissa performs for the 3rd year in a row at the popular and well attended Old Town Cinco De Mayo festival in San Diego. (May 2013)
- Salt Lake City, UT: Marissa just completed a short film for the 48 Hour Film Project in Salt Lake City. This was her first experience as director, producer, and screen writer. With the help of a great team of local Utah talent she produced the film Devoreaux, a mokumentary style comedy. Devoreaux was screened at the Megaplex Theaters and received a wonderful audience response. (June 2012)
- Salt Lake City, Utah, USA: Working on two major film projects: the soap opera "Proper Manors" and the star studded major motion picture "Left Turn".
San Diego, California, USA: Recording two new original songs and contracting to perform live in downtown San Diego for Cinco De Mayo on May 5th and 6th. (March 2012) - San Diego, CA: Marissa completed production on her third short film for the National Film Challenge 2012. Her film is titled "Noah Account" and is a vacation comedy. (October 2012)
- Salt Lake City, Utah: Marissa is acting in a lead role in director Kris Russel's short film titled "Miss December," a short film about blackmail. Marissa is also actively involved in working on the TV/Web-Series that recently premiered, "Proper Manors," as a supporting actress and associate producer. This June Marissa will also be producing her own film for the local Salt Lake City 48 Hour Film Festival, working as executive producer, director, screenwriter, and actress. (June 2012)
- San Diego, CA: Marissa began working on the feature length horror film "Red Virus" with director Rafael Omar Cruz. (October 2012)
- Salt Lake City, Utah: Finished principle photography for two new films - Jarrod Phillip's and Tom J. Post's "BFFs OMG" and Jay Brown's "Left 4 Dead - Gone to Lunch." (May 2012)
- Morgan Hill, CA: Marissa has been collaborating with and assisting Grant Richards, the producer and director of the upcoming feature film Death Pact, with the casting of the lead roles for the film. Marissa is also an actress in one of the lead roles for Death Pact. (June 2012)
- Provo, UT: Marissa filmed and completed a short horror film titled "Our Gate." This is Marissa's second production that she has written, produced, and directed. The short premiered in October in Salt Lake City, Utah. (September 2012)
- Salt Lake City, UT: Marissa participates in the 48 Hour Film Festival for the 2nd year in a row as Producer and Director. Her team will include popular Director of Photography and Assistant Director, Rafael Omar Cruz, of San Diego, California. (May 2013)
